Immediately following registration, the camp activities will be held at 6001 Ager Road in Hyattsville, MD. Registration begins at 7 a.m. Children ages 8 – 14 are encouraged to attend this free camp designed to give every young athlete the skills they can use in competition and skills to carry with them in life.

Rodney McLeod, Founder of Change Our Future, says, “We are very excited about the upcoming youth football camp. It’s been a couple of years since we held our annual football camp in person back in PG County MD. As a PG County native and former player at DeMatha High School, I love using my story to inspire and motivate others to become successful. As equally important, we want to educate, inspire, and engage our parents who will be in attendance, so we have some on-site activities for them to participate in.

The Youth Football Camp Experience offers young athletes a safe and accessible place to play and addresses the importance of health, safety, wellness, and how to develop a winning attitude in sports and life. We also educate our young athletes about leadership, accountability, discipline, and hard work, which will help them achieve long-term success and make better decisions as they develop into adults.

This year we have partnered with Prince George’s County as we seek to invite as many youth as we can,” comments Erika McLeod, Founder of Change Our Future. “With the current state of youth depression and violence trending around the country, it is important to create safe and productive environments the youth can be a part of,whether for one day or one hour. Change Our Future strives to provide adequate tools that will inspire our young people to grow up to be notable adults.
